Groupvine Email Blast Service Notice

Parents' Council has recently receive inquiries from Parents and PTCO Leadership about email communications platform GroupVine and some frustrations about the platform's "mobile friendliness".

In response, CCSD IT Administrators have been working to find some answers and has reached out to GroupVine platform to inquire about what they are doing to ensure that their emails are responsive or if there is something that the PTCOs need to do differently when creating their emails.

GROUPVINE's RESPONSE: In the next few months they expect to have new templates available that are more mobile friendly. "Within the next couple weeks, watch for a GroupVine update email where we'll be releasing a couple new template choices for creating emails that should be responsive to narrower screens like phones."

NOTE: If PTCO Administrators with GroupVine accounts don't receive the update emails which go to all of the Admins and Editors of GroupVine school accounts, please contact them directly to let them know and they'll add your address to their mailing list.

Parents' Council encourages those PTCOs using Group Vine to use the new mobile friendly themes as they are available. As of Nov. 28th GROUPVINE had "just released an update with initial support for responsive emails, and we'll be continuing to monitor for any issues in various other email handlers that aren't obeying the responsive media queries for possible improvements in the future."
