2018-19 Parents' Council Board Slate Voting Open, Deadline Approaching

Dear CCSD Parents’ Council Members:

Please excuse the length of this email, but there are few items that Parents' Council needs to bring to your attention, including an important one that we need your help with.

2018-19 Parents’ Council Executive Board

At our last meeting, we distributed the slate for the 2018-19 Parents’ Council Executive Board. That slate is as follows:

• President: Kristine Ritter

• Co-Treasurer (Advisor): Kristen Batcho

• Co-Treasurer (Advisor): DeeDee Hooker

• Hospitality: Joan Moore

• Social Media: Sheryl Hinton

In order for the new Board to begin acting immediately, we are asking for an electronic vote on the slate. You are receiving this email because you are on our distribution list and everyone in the Cherry Creek School District is entitled to vote.

If you APPROVE the new slate, please reply in the affirmative to this email.

If you DO NOT APPROVE the new slate, please reply in the negative to this email.

We understand that during the summer everyone has other demands on their time, so we are asking for responses by no later than MIDNIGHT, NEXT FRIDAY, JUNE 8, 2018. We will then tally the responses and notify everyone of the outcome.

2018-19 Parents’ Council Executive Board (2nd Set of Slate)

At this time we would also like to update the rest of our slate for which we will vote on at the first meeting in September. This is the 30-day notice as required in our bylaws. The new members are:

• Treasurer (Incoming): – MJ Jobe

• Secretary/Document Review: Nisha Brushaber

• Communications: Jenny Emerson

2018 Fall Leadership Training Workshop

Our Fall Leadership Training Workshop for Presidents and Treasurers will be Monday, August 27, 2018 at SARC. We will have two sessions again - morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be a signup on our Parents' Council website beginning in July.
