WE ARE LOOKING FOR ALL TYPES OF VOLUNTEERS FOR THE CARDBOARD CHALLENGE!

For the 6th year, the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation is bringing the Imagination Foundation Global Cardboard Challenge to Cherry Creek Schools grades K through 12. This is a chance to give our students space to innovate, experiment, explore, play, create and be inspired to foster their creative spirit. Every participant creates whatever it is they set their mind to with nothing but cardboard and recycled materials. Cardboard Challenge provides students a gateway into project-based learning and design thinking that are key to shaping our next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators in our fast-paced, connected world.

  • The Foundation needs up to 60 judges (like you!) to interact with student participants and score their projects on a rubric that we will provide.

  • No prior experience is required, just your time and enthusiasm!

  • The only time commitment required of volunteer judges will be during the three-hour time frame for the event on October 10 at Smoky Hill High School, 16100 E. Smoky Hill Road, Aurora, Colorado (arrive by 4 pm).

If you are interested in being a judge, please email jhenden@cherrycreekschools.org or

call 720-554-4292.

We hope you will help make this event magical and memorable for the estimated 2,000 students, families and community members! View more details.
